The M of scams
hello!
The title of this post seems unfathomable. This is certainly not the M button on your BMW M steering wheel, but its rather the M from the MLM, also known to many as multi level marketing or management or something rather boring.
I'm sure most of you have got an unexpected phone call from someone you've never seen for a long time. And thats rather good to catch up with your old mates....Your mate will probably talk over a cup of coffee with you. Then you see your mate pitch up in a 3 series or a honda civic, which is impressive but be aware...
So you now talking about the past like the school days and stuff like that, and suddenly your mate tells you something of a business plan, an MLM plan to be exact! This is what drives me up the wall at this moment. Your mate will almost certainly tells you that by investing a couple of hundred of dollars, that you'll soon drive a car like his.
That sounds rather tempting to me, but i'm not a believer of MLMs because i think its a more of a scam. To be brutally honest, i've seen a number of MLM people that drive 3 series and honda civics which they bought for their own money. They're forever telling you that it only take them a year to get that sort of money to own things like that. But i'm sorry, the only way you're making money that fast after you've count out the possibility of you being one of donald trump's concubines is robbing banks!
And yes, the money they make is great, but only to pitch up with a 3 series or a honda civic is not good enough for me, ultimately, these are just cars for executives, not a multimillionaires wheels.
I hated the MLM because it's like a left wing plot, yes the money is very well, but as what i've pointed out, earning faster than a bank thief will only bring you closer to the electric chair!
Another thing that drives me up the wall about MLMs are the people who believe in it! There are no free lunch nor a quick one in this world, but they still believe it. Most of the MLMs are targeted at non professional level career people, and this is a known fact. If you ask anyone with a sensible mind or even a university student, most of them will not buy the idea of MLM, unless their university lecturers are mad enough to be part of MLMs.
So if one of your long lost mates calls you out for a drink after 10 years, please ask them if they have change their car during the last 12 months and if yes, please confirm if they are part of any MLM groups. Hypothetically, if they say yes to all of that, please tell them for the love of god get out of MLM. Many people are suffering from your blind idiocy ideas. Thats is why some of the very well respected countries have banned MLMs from their sacred soil!
