What we're missing out
Hello and welcome to the daily telegraph! thank you for spending your time here in this blog. As you would know...if there are more people logging in to this site...the more popular it will become and therefore I could sell some ad spaces here without a question or shadow of doubt.
As a kick off, the modern day life is very different than what it used to be...I still remember in the days of yesteryears, we don’t have DVD players, iPod's and many other electronics marvels. Inventions like this makes everyday life situation easier. If you remember when we have the VHS tapes, it would took about THREE WEEKS to rewind the tape..or even to your favourite tune on the cassette tape.
In everyway, electrical engineering has brought us many great things. Nowadays, thanks to the interweb, recording artist no longer earn as much of those in the 70's or 80's. And this is disturbing truth can be seen everywhere. In the era of great music, rock stars such as The Who could afford to drive a Rolls Royce into the swimming pool or even throw a television set to the swimming pool. Today, if you ask a rockstar what would they do with all the money, they'll simply spend it on music video which is as long as the sun remains there.
The fact of the matter is, modern day musician are not making that much money, due to the mp3 downloads which doesn't earn them any money. Of course, they would be some artist out there saying that " my music are for the fans and not because of the money" i'm sure thats true.
Who is gonna pay for their cost of producing the albums and the extra services they request.
"I get the impression that the song is a product of a mass production music factory"
But because of this problem, musician these day just wouldn't work hard enough in doing music. Whenever I listen to the radio these days, I get the impression that the song is a product of a mass production music factory. Don't get me wrong, music created in a short time can be great. Deep Purple showed the world that they only need a bus ride to wrote one of the greatest rock songs of the world, its called the Highway Star. I absolutely love this song. It's got something I look in a song. It's got soul!
Obviously, we don't get any of those sort of music these days. Instead, we get punk rock and hip hop....and what is that? I'd like to think of great music comes with passion...and not about their lyrics about how much money they have in the bank and all that nonsense. If we look at music from The Queen, The Who, Aerosmith and things from the 70's and 80's it was much better to listen and more importantly its not some funny sounding noise which they put in hip hop tunes.
I'm sure that music these days are already winning awards everywhere in the world, but i'm afraid it absolutely doesn't win my heart.
